My Story
I've travelled quite a bit throughout the last decade but usually just for a week or two in each place. More of a vacationer than a traveller. On these short trips I would meet other backpackers and would learn that they have been on the road, living out of their backpacks for sometimes a year or two at a time. This changed my whole perspective on life. Being a very independent person, this lifesytle seemed so appealing to me and I knew right away that I would embark on extended adventures abroad. I bought my one way ticket to Tokyo and that was that. I began working online a few hours a day for a retail company based in Minneapolis. All I needed was a solid wi-fi connection, whether it be in a coffee shop, restaurant, on a beach or at the hostel and the few hours that I worked was plenty for my budget in Asia. This lifestyle seemed to fit perfect with my passion for photography and this last year has done wonders for my craft, working with light, angles, telling a story with my shots and helped me expand my horizons into many different types of photography. I hope by taking a look at my photos they take you on a journey yourself and inspire you. Thank you for taking the time to hear my story and let me share with you my passion for travel and photography- Tyler Patrick Patterson
